Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore

Singapore

The Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore+ project comprises a new naturally ventilated Ground Transport Area (GTA) and the conversion of the former GTA into an expanded Check-In Hall to support increasing passenger volumes. Positioned along the exposed waterfront, the extension is sensitively integrated with the existing terminal, respecting its architectural language while establishing a clear identity of its own.

The GTA adopts a butterfly roof that distinguishes coach and car traffic, designed with passive features such as ventilation stacks and perforated panels that promote airflow and enhance environmental comfort. Flying buttresses along the main arrival sequence accentuate the structural rhythm and reinforce the sense of arrival for passengers.

Delivered through phased construction to keep the terminal fully operational, the project navigated tight timelines and logistical constraints, completing within an accelerated programme through close stakeholder coordination.
